Mavidol Sol INJECTION 3 vials 30mg, Ketorolac
It is a non-narcotic analgesic used to treat short-term pain. Orally administered should not exceed 10 days. Intramuscularly or intravenously should not exceed 4 days.
It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to ketorolac, aspirin or any nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. Also in patients at risk of bleeding at any level, renal failure and in those taking any NSAID.
Dosage and administration:
Solution for injection.
Adults: Initial dose 30-60 mg.
Subsequent doses: 30 mg every 4 to 6 hours intramuscularly and every 6 hours for IV, not to exceed 120 mg / day or 4 days of treatment in adults. In elderly patients with renal impairment or should not exceed 60 mg / day.
