Bisolvon Sol. Adults 100ml 8 mg, Bromhexine
INDICATIONS: mucolytic and expectorant. Bisolvon ® is indicated as adjunctive therapy for secretolytic in acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with abnormalmucus secretion and impaired mucus transport.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Hypersensitivity to bromehexina or other components of the formula.
WARNINGS: There, in very rare cases, reports of severe skinlesions, such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome and Lyell síndormein temporal association with administration of mucolytic asbromhexine substances. Primarily this can be explained by the severity of the underlying disease or concomitant medication. If new skin lesions or mucous membranes, seek medical supervision should be discontinued immediately and treatment with bromhexine as a precaution.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Oral.
Bisolvon ® Solution adults (8 mg / 5 ml):
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times a day.
Children 6 to 12 years: ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) 3 times a day.
At the start of treatment might require a dose increase, it can lift up to a total dose of 48 mg daily in adults.
Bisolvon ® Child strawberry (4 mg / 5 ml):
Children 6 to 12 years: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times a day.
Children 2 to 6 years: ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) 3 times a day.
Children under 2 years: ¼ teaspoon (1.25 ml) 3 times a day.
The solution is free of sugar, which can be used in diabetic patients and young children.
